Abstract:Cultural characteristics of 10 polypore species growing on broad-leaf trees in forest reserves of northeastern China are described. Pure cultures of each species are obtained from incubation of fruit body tissue on PDA and put on MEA media for 1~6weeks at 25℃. Cultural characteristics are observed at intervals of 7 days. Both macroscopic and microscopic characters of the cultures are described in detail.
Keywords:Cultural character, polypores, wood-rotting fungi
